Important Notice on Shipping and Local Regulations
This notice is provided by DefendGear.
1. Check Local Laws Before Ordering
Customers are responsible for confirming before purchase that an item may lawfully be imported, possessed and used in their country, state or region. DefendGear does not provide legal advice.
2. Customs Inspections and Restricted Items
International shipments may be inspected by customs or other authorities. Restricted items can include products with particular blade features, defensive equipment or goods requiring licences or permits. We may cancel an order if we believe shipment would be unlawful or unsafe.
3. Customs Seizure and Returned Parcels
If a parcel is seized, confiscated, destroyed or abandoned because the customer ordered an item prohibited in the destination, failed to pay applicable duties, or failed to provide required documents, a refund may be refused to the extent permitted by applicable law. If a parcel is returned to the sender in resalable condition, any refund will be assessed under our Refund Policy.
4. Fulfilment Origin
Orders may be dispatched by third-party logistics providers from different locations according to stock and destination. The dispatch country does not change the identity of the legal seller and does not remove the customer's obligation to comply with local law.
5. Mandatory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this notice excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
